meet the teachers.
Hello, my name is Brook!
I found yoga as a young adult shortly after graduating from college. In that transition, yoga became my support and safety net. As that love for the practice grew, I knew I wanted to share it with others. Now, I have been a yoga teacher since 2020! As a teacher, I’ve seen how this practice can provide a space for healing, growth, community, and fun.
In my other career, I work in pediatric healthcare. I find my purpose and passion lie in supporting the health and wellness of children.
Combining these two worlds as a kids yoga instructor is a dream come true. Joining Happy Me Yoga was one of the easiest YES’s I’ve ever had.
I hope we get the opportunity to meet and ‘play yoga’!

Yoga has been something I have been deeply inspired to share since getting certified in 2017. I enjoy sharing the gift of yoga to anyone I have the chance to share it with as I feel it's more than movement, it's a lifestyle.
I started teaching in the recovery community and offered Y12SR classes to those in recovery for 3 years. I'm also certified as a reiki master, a Thai massage and Access Bars practitioner, an aromatherapist, and have over 1,500 hours of teaching yoga. Among many trainings I found my interest to be strongest in restorative yoga but enjoy teaching all branches and all ages. My passion to teach kids has grown over the years in hopes to help them become more centered and guide them to a life of joy. Moving from the recovery world to the world of children has inspired me to be the voice and chance for change. With today's world being so overstimulating, it's important to teach children techniques on calming the body and mind and that is exactly what I intend to do.
A yoga practice is important for everyone to find balance in life and the body, mind, and soul. My classes challenge you to find the strength within and bring it to the surface so that no challenge in life can have the ability to disrupt your peace.

Yoga brings a safe space to so many people, and I am happy to be one of them. In April of 2024, I earned certification in 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training. It was such an amazing experience! I wanted to widen my options so I earned my certification in Barre while completing my yoga teacher training. I spend most of my days with children , so I knew I wanted to get involved with Happy Me Kids Yoga.
I am a dance teacher for children and I also work in childcare. Observing all types of behaviors and anxiety in children made me eager to learn more about kids yoga. I participated in Happy Me Kids Yoga training and immediately could not wait to get started! Children deserve a place to feel safe and learn breath work to help them every day. Allowing them to show their silly side and their creativity is so important, and I am so lucky to be able to allow children to have that space.
Children leave feeling calm and relaxed. It allows them to explore deep into their imagination, as well as providing a movement workout release. The minds of children are so powerful and having the opportunity to see them use their minds is so amazing!

Halle is the founder of Happy Me Kids Yoga and is a proud mom of an incredible 3 year old. Halle completed her first yoga teacher training program in 2016 and began teaching at a yoga and dance studio where she took her very first yoga class. Halle comes from a background in gymnastics and jumped on the opportunity to start leading acro classes at the studio. She found herself implementing so many teachings from yoga into these tumbling classes, and eventually Happy Me Kids Yoga was born.
Halle began taking every opportunity to teach kids yoga anywhere that had an interest - studios, schools, libraries, camps, daycares, sports practices – you name it. The kids were not only engaged, but you could tell they were growing. Classes of course were always fun…playing is how children learn…but Halle was blown away by how quickly they grasped the power of their breath and thinking about just one thing at a time (this is what we call meditating). She couldn’t believe these little balls of energy were asking to relax and asking for imagination time (or shh-vasana) just halfway through class. Halle immediately fell in love with her kids’ love for yoga.
Halle’s goal in all her classes is to give kids the opportunity to learn they have the power to change their world with just one breath…to help them discover their tools to create mindful movement, connection to breath, and healthy ways for expression…to show them what her first yoga class showed her: they always have the power to choose happy.
